The next meeting of Single Member District 5A06 will be held on Monday, March 9, 2009, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Turkey Thicket Recreation Center, near the intersection of 10th and Randolph Streets, NE.
John Feeley, the commissioner for the single member district, 5A06, will present an update on liquor license issues, zoning variance matters, crime issues and the results of the Council vote on the Brookland/CUA Metro Small Area Plan. He will also report on Department of Public Works and Department of Transportation issues. The meeting will also offer opportunities for residents to voice specific concerns impacting the district.
(District 5A06 is bounded by the railroad tracks on the west, 14th Street on the east, the south side of Taylor Street on the north, and the north side of Otis Street on the south.)
