5A06 March Meeting
On Monday, March 8, 2010, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center, John Feeley, the commissioner for the single member district 5A06, will present an update on liquor license issues, zoning variance matters and crime issues. He will also present information on the disposition of the Brookland School building and the March 15 Community meeting with the director of the Office of Planning on the implementation of the Brookland Small Area Plan. Charles Murn, president of the Michigan Park Citizens' Association, will present the plans for the park at 12th, Michigan and Shepherd Sts.
The meeting will also offer opportunities for residents to voice specific concerns impacting the district.
(District 5A06 is bounded by the railroad tracks on the west, 14th Street on the east, the south side of Taylor Street on the north, and the north side of Otis Street on the south.)
