5A06 June Meeting
Monday, June 13, 2011, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center,
John Feeley, the commissioner for the single member district 5A06, will present an update on liquor license issues, zoning variance matters and crime issues.
The meeting will also offer opportunities for residents to voice specific concerns impacting the district.
There will be no meeting in July or August. Next meeting of the single member district will be on September 12, 2011.
(District 5A06 is bounded by the railroad tracks on the west, 14th Street on the east, the south side of Taylor Street on the north, and the north side of Otis Street on the south.)

A zoning variance is proposed for a construction project on the 1200 block of Randolph.
Mr. Topjian of Brookland Homes has presented his proposal and seeks a letter of support. He will be there to answer questions on this matter. A vote will be taken on a letter of support for this variance. All concerned citizens should attend.
The meeting will also offer opportunities for residents to voice specific concerns impacting the district.

March meeting
The March meeting for single member district 5A06 will be held on March 21, the third Monday, this month. We will meet at 6:30 at the Turkey Thicket recreation Center. The agenda will include neighborhood watch/ police reports, new developments on 10th Street and Casey Trees Turkey Thicket Project.
The set down for the Col. Brooks PUD is being held on the 14th, at 6:30 PM. All Zoning Board Meetings and Hearings are held on the Second Floor in Room 220 South at
One Judiciary Square
441 4th Street, NW
Washington, DC 2001
at the Zoning Board Hearing Chambers. While there is no opportunity to testify, I want to be there to show concern in this matter and solidarity with the residents of 5A07.
