SMD 5B05, Brookland, Washington, DC

Dear neighbors: I am holding the March 5B05 single member district meeting for 2015 on Monday, March 9, at 6:30 PM at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center. I have invited the 5th District and DDOT representatives to this meeting. I am seeking input on the Mid-City Development proposal for the Brookland Manor site, which abuts our 5B commission area. They are proposing a 2100 unit development. I will review current issues facing the single member district, particularly zoning, development and liquor license applications, and look for input for residents in 5B05.
